Himal

Which one of the Modderfontein dams are you gonna fish ?

The dam at the church / shopping centre you are not allowed to fish and is heavily policed by the AEL security  swr ( They Woes )

:grk: , thanks for the replies.... Shag, how do you get to these 'lil ponds'?   :grk: , the dam thats in front of those shops, (i think theres a post office there, adjacent to the garage), which dam is that? According to Google maps, that dam is dam 3. how do you get to dam 4? Himal and I want to fish there as its just a cast away from where we live. and  :brbel:  would be our target. Would mind a  :carp:  or 5

Thanks

Shikz

So, we were off to Modderfontein dam last night after work.. Himal and I met at my house and then we were off... Got there a scoped around. Realizing that we were not allowed to fish in the big dam opposite the shops, we found that small river outlet of the main dam...its tiny, but after Shags info about those small rivers, we threw a worm out.... 3 mins later,  :tite .... and a small  :brbel:  of about 40 cms. things went quiet for a while and then I was rebaiting with Himal hold his phone for light. When himal went back to the spot where his rod was, and the rod was gone!!! fish pulled it into the water but luckliy it got stuck on some reeds and we managed to get it out.... hook line was snapped out clean.

Shag, I still want to find the best spot that holds those big cats.... some help :) please

Also, we fishing dowerglen dam this weekend... any tips? Reports?
