Well done Fish-Hunter, some nice and healthy bass you caught there!
Didn't you get any pigs in the 2kg+ class?

Geno · « **Reply #189 on:** January 05, 2012, 07:25:39 AM »

When I stayed in Secunda, I used to fish a farm dam with a huge number of bass. I caught 136 fish in 11 afternoons after work. Biggest was just over 4kg. Man I miss those days!

Thanx Geno, unfortunately I caught nothing of that kind of weight. I'm sure there are some biggies in the dam but they always seem to elude me.

Duncan, the owner of the farm said the heaviest caught to date was 4,9kg and was landed in the large dam. That large dam is best fished from a boat and that's what I plan to do on my next trip to Fouriesburg.

I don't know if you have a Action Frog by Sensation but I can tell you "it works". I bought the one I used the day before, the plastic its made of is very tough, thank heavens cause I only bought the one.

Tight Lines
