I think in future I am going to choose my destinations by what they have to offer when the conditions are wrong because I have yet to experience the "right" conditions :dunno:

My favourite would be somewhere in the Transkei. Even with all of the travelling and angling in some of the top spots around Africa, there is no place where I would like to spend more time than the wildcoast. There is just so much fishing potential there, from rock and surf to light tackle lure and amazing scenery, peace and quiet and a great family environment where you can go with the people you love most and all will be happy!

Vidal/Sodwana/Kosi for local - and Pomene/Morungulu/Zavora in Mozambique.

Anywhere theres good fish, great mates and cold beer for after !

Oh yes!! Totally agree  (clap)

If I had to choose, it would definitely be the Transkei - Grosvernor, Mzikaba, Hole in the Wall, Mpame (awesome cottage to rent there with deck over the beach - perfect for a shot at sundown - can sit on the deck with a frosty and braai fire while waiting for a pull or hubby can lie in bed at dawn and watch me fishing on the corner, so very safe). I would also like to fish Mazeppa again - had my first awesome pull on a slide there but burnt off with a under/over in the braid!
