yeah Greg, will be great if we can get an answer. You, me, Andre, Richard, Earl, Bemji were all gobbsmacked! Some sort of Blennie on steroids maybe?
 
I think Tommo (hopefully) can shed some light on it.
 
I wonder when people will start refering to it as ex-wfe / ex-GF, ex-boss etc........ not the prettiest fish we had ever seen!

Look no further gents...
It's a Robust jawfish - Opistognathus muscatensis (Smiths # 225.2)

Here are couple of illustrations (not so great) from Smiths'...

I never caught one myself... I usually don't bottom fish/jig that deep!

They are not super abundant, but are fairly common...

Not many "live" pics of this particular species.... You should submit a good resolution pic to www.fishbase.org.
