Thanks guys. I didn't get to fish yesterday, the wind was howling and I was in no mood to be blown into the water. Maybe today after work.
A dead whale washed up on the rocks in front of the Buffalo Bay caravan park yesterday. Municipal Manager, Lauren Waring, issued a warning that people should stay out of the water because of the presence of sharks attracted by the carcass. I think there are going to be a lot of guys fishing for sharks this weekend. http://www.knysnaplettherald.com/news.aspx?id=24688&h=Beached-whale-photos
Jy is altyd welkom, maar as jy na die fotos gekyk het sal jy nie meer vreeslik honger wees nie.

This weeks front page of the local paper (Knysna Plett Herald) also sported a photo of a mini sardine run at Plettenberg Bay on the 3 April. It looks like the sardines have started their migration to the KZN coast. There have been a lot of discussions going on about the pollution of the Knysna lagoon. It finally looks like something will be done. At this stage I would not eat anything coming out of the lagoon. "Following a detailed report in response to consistently high counts of E. Coli entering the Knysna Estuary, the Knysna Municipal Section 80 Committee for Planning Development and Infrastructure recommended that its council commits in principle to allocate at least R38,3-million over the next five years towards the permanent reduction of pollution into one of its most important natural resources, the Knysna Lagoon."http://www.knysnaplettherald.com/news.aspx?id=39601&h=R38,3-million-for-Knysna-Estuary
