Monday 18 Oct - "Boia Perdida"

Yesterday - Monday 18 Oct - Richard and his crew - Zuber & Tiago
went fishing as the weather gave a break.
They headed on "Number 1" to a area called "Boia Perdida" - S25 51.410
                                                                                                  E32 56.388
Now - translated "Boia Perdida" is "Lost Buoy"
Our Comodore once - many years ago - was caught up in a freak storm.
He was fishing a Competition in the area of the Channel  marker 3S
As this frea storm came from the Horth - he had no option to head into it.
This took him of the normal area on Sport Fishing.
When the storm passed after +- 3 hours - he found himself next to a Channel Marker Buoy
that was in the middle of no where.
This msker Buoy was not any used in Mozambique.
It must have come from afar and it,s ancor got stuck on this sand ledge that comes from 35 meters to 20 meters.
At this - he was surrounded by YTF
Jumping & feeding on bait fish every where.
He won the Competion on catching 49 YTF,s

Richard yesterday found the YTF,s there like we all do this time of the year.
He caught 17 and released a huge 50+kg Sailfish.
He caught 9 Dorado as well.
This place is HOT at the moment and we in our Maputo UA Challenge will visit there
and let the guys swim ther special secret lures.

Very interesting also a convergence in the area channeling the fish. Just NE of prominant reef system the same area where the current would hit.
