I have an Icom. Could not tell you what model as I leave it in DBN, but it is a DSC Handheld I was told that ICOM is the Toyota of Radios. Not really sure, but it talks when it needs to etc.
I killed the battery because I left it either uncharged to too charged (I forget) and it was a pretty easy replacement. They are based in the Northlands Deco Park at the end of Witkoppin and were pretty helpful.
