Nice fish!!! Any chance of a brief report on how and with what tackle?  :-)
Forgive me Father for I have spinned... It's been three weeks since my last cob session.

We did a late maiden session with the boat at about 3pm on Friday afternoon, we cought some bonnies at Small High, from there we went to Patingo where we put them out, we were slow trawling them for about 30 minutes when the on rod just  :sreel: unbelieveable, the fish sounded, but we kept our cool and did not apply to much pressure and aventually it showed itself, a nice couta of 20kg. The next morning we did some bottom fishing, on our way back to port we saw that there were quite a few boats at Patingo (the word was out) we inquired as to wether any couta came out, only one fish came out, we put a dead bonnie out and after pulling it for only about 10m we were on again! This one came easier and pulled the scale to 17.5kg. On Sunday morning the sea was crap, but we decided to push on, and went to a pinnicale where we cought some small bonnies, we used 50lb tackle and let them down with a 750gram weight, we were broken off five times! We remade our traces and with the next bite we used the boat on full drag and pulled the fish off the pinnicale after which we fought it, we cought three and released two more, needless to say the fishing was so nice that we lost track of time and my son`s girlfriend missed her flight back from King Shaka :unhap :unhap....luckily it was his call to stay longer :clwn
