If you realy want to target bigger fish you need to put out loads of feed. If you have enough feed on the spot to keap te carp in the area they wil keap the small fish of the spot. We get the same problem with muddies picking up the boilies. Put more feed out and the karp push them off the spot.

You could probably get away from the Vleis at night, but like Pieta said, lots of feed is the answer...

Go fishing at night or now during the colder months when the kurper "disappear " or you could try something like fake mielies on the hook,  the kurper won't be able to take it off the hook...  I have a feeling adding more feed will just draw the kurper to that spot but I might be wrong...

Just go with a bigger  pop-up boilie say a 20mm snowman style , stick in some bomb dip and let air dry until it is hard, you can even try a small sprinkling of salt on your feed, might chase away smaller ones, works at vaaldam when the small yellows are pests.

Haha that's assuming the dam still exists Chancer :crzy ... I was just thinking how I find myself in a similar situation,  the Dam I usually go to has beautiful carp if u can fight through the 3kgish barbel, but literally the smallest carp I've pulled out there was a 6kg
