Edenvale Quarry???

I dont really post on any forums but have a question thats eating me.


Does anyone know if the quarry is still running? Does anyone have contact details to join them?
Its right around the corner from my work and i would like to fish there.

When we used to fish there (8 years back) there was a sign on the gate with the guys name and contact details, havent heard much about it for a while though, so not sure if it is still going.

Some big specimen carp in there, as well as a few Bass and lots of Vlei Kurper.

just took a drive there now... no gate noone there... you can see there is someone living in the building at the end though, Do you think its safe for day sessions?

Yeah safe for day sessions, but I am sure there is a charge of some sorts. In the past you had to pay R250 a month (If I remember correctly) to be a member.

im not sure? there is no evidence of anyone fishing it recently and no access control(no gate on the hinges). I think im just going to go and see if someone says anything, if so then i know who to talk to...lol
