It's certainly a boxfish (family Ostraciidae). Will be able to confirm once I get to dry land.

Where was it found? I'd say Ostracion meleagris (whitespotted boxfish) if found in the tropical/sutropical Indian ocean

Checking my books Walks, I think your pic might be of a thorspine cowfish (Lactoria fornasini). Same family but diferent genus
