Can anybody help me identify this species. Caught at Umdhloti around 12:30 am on a prawn bait,

Looks similar to a Thornfish, but I don't think it's one?

No definitely not a Thornfish, It looked more like a different species of Cave Bass/Lantern Bream, but I am still unsure,Tx

Definatly a cavebass. Mainly nocturnal.....greedy little buggers. Live in and around reef and structure.
