Jigging rod build
« on: October 29, 2015, 12:01:24 PM »
Hi all

Couple of seasons back my Hots got clipped by a spinning lure and not soon after that while jigging it snapped <: . I still have the components and was thinking that they could probably be used in making another jigging rod using a quality blank

My question is therefore whom would you recommend doing this build for me?
The Hots components are for the 56XH Spinning

Any leads or recommendations appreciated
Cheers

ET on the forum does some beautiful work, What blank will you source its hard to get good Jigging Blanks lots of Companies claim to make good onews but they are pretty k*K, Try looking at an OBX 300 from Salty water Tackle or ask the guys at Synit in NZ or CTS again NZ they make some great blanks.

Thanks Cam ... was thinking about OBX and possibly black hole from Jig n Pop. Know of a cat this side that swears by Synit also. Good idea that. Cheers
