Bwana's Live Bait Chart
« on: September 28, 2015, 09:41:54 AM »
Hi Guys

Just thought I'd share a chart that I made for measuring live bait traces, it's based on the average sizes for most livebaits for general gamefishing.

Perfect when making pre-tied couta traces etc. Hope it helps. Due to size restrictions of attachments this one is just a preview, for the high resolution version Click here.

(*NB - when printing this chart it is scaled to fit on an A3 sheet)

Hi Mark,

thanks for the picture! Great idea! Maybe add dots for where you are aiming to get your hooks? 1st third, middle, last third etc if I'm making sense?

Thanks Reefz!

:hyst: No none of that here. I usually rig my shad traces with the first treble at 12cm and the second at 22cm, both VMC permasteel instead of black nickel. Just find that size trace works best on a 30cm shad
