Keen fisherwoman .
« on: April 02, 2015, 08:38:25 AM »
During a recent trip to Kosi we met a woman of indeterminate age on a small boat fishing with her Gillie. She caught more often than the guys in our group, deservedly so as she spent many hours on the water.
She would be up to her chest spinning, pulling the boat to beach it etc. We commented how capable she was. one day she hearing we were going to town approached one of us to buy provisions, a bottle of J.& B. and a case of Hansa. The next day saw her with the daughter of 45/50 yrs fishing with her. This raised more comments on how agile and fit she was for her age . A few days later she announced her departure :-(, saying aah well I have to go home and arrange a wake.  On our expression of sympathy she announced. '' Yes my husband died in Feb, if it had happened here it would have spoilt the fishing trip we arranged months ago ''. NOW THAT IS KEEN. :toppie:
My wife allows me to keep all the fishing tackle I can hide.

That is probably what her husband would have wanted her to do.
