Coincidentally I just emailed my application for GAP cover to Stratum Benefits today. When my mrs did her research their exclusions policies and cover were the best fit for us. 0861113499 their telephone number.

In the past three years I have had two very expensive heart procedures done in Cape Town and also a double hernia operation here in Durban. I'm with Complimed, under written by Hollard I think, and found that they were extremely efficient regarding large shortfalls which Discovery never paid for. I found that if your paperwork is in order they will process the claims right away. Not saying they the best but I did find them to be very efficient. (clap)

We've just moved to Turnberry from Complimed post Complimed's policies restructuring for 2015. Seems to be a great option but haven't tested it yet.

late to this thread but I've been with Admed Gap (Guardrisk) for the past 5-6 years. Currently 90 bucks a month for the whole family. Ive had 3 claims thus far one of which was massive after having the wife and baby in ICU for over 2 weeks. They have a 7 day payout policy and thus far all 3 claims were sorted within 7 days no hassle.........
