HOOK CLIP
« on: June 28, 2010, 12:53:26 PM »
When you're walking with a rod, tie a small solid ring on with a cable tie near the butt to keep your hook from taking someone's eye out...

Reefz, I normally clip  the hook to a guide on the rod but this will probably damage the guide in time?

BAD idea Pierre. If the guide gets scratched by a hook, then it will damage the line going through it every time.

Thanks, it did not "feel" like the right thing to do. Now I know why.
