To each his own, they are about performance.
Set up correctly they outperform anything else.
BUT are not suitable for all blanks / type of rod.
Would not dream of setting up a 13' surf rod with them.

Until uou actually cast one.....

Luckyhoock,

You are looking at around 265g-275g all up weight
11' nope. 10'6" then 12'...
10'6" throws circles around others sticks and us lighter in the hand.
It's not always about absolute weight but how it balances in your hand.

I think I need to build a demo rod......

the main thing I like about it is u have more eyes which bring s the line closer  to the blank-so more power gets transferred, will it cast further? and if so its gonna be maybe 5-10%

How is your Exceler performing with the KR Concept ?

I've only spent one quick session at the last social giving it a whirl.
Has definitely given the rod a more responsive loading effect when casting lighter lures. Also, estimate maybe a 15% increase in casting distance throughout the range.

No, just less rods to take with on the long walks... to cover the range properly.
Before, had to take the Amia for up to 1.5oz, Exceler for up 2-3oz, and Poseidon Ultra light for 3-4oz...
