Wow got taught a proper lesson this morning duh fished beacon rocks in Plett. Slid out a whole chokka. Got a pick up in about 30mins. The fish took about 50m of line I won back 10m  then the fish took another 50 I won back 5m and the fish took 50m. This continued for ages with the fish eventually getting me well into my braid. Unfortunately the fish would simply not turn right! It eventually cut me off about 500m out to sea duh needless to say the back and arms are paining :hehe: will be back tomorrow afternokn for revenge! Off to walk Robberg now :rck"

Ok seriously now! Fish of the western cape, I do not want to hurt you! Fought another fish for 2 hours this morning. Arms and back are absolutely stuffed! Perhaps Ill land one tomorrow duh

Ic personally I would rather do the bday bash somewhere a bit more rugged. I would bring the family along to Plett  anytime but taking them to HITW? Aint gonna happen!

PH Ive only fished Beacon island. The water is very deep there believe it or not. The rocks are just a mission to walk on on. Extremely smooth in patches that sent me sliding :hyst:
