twin eyed skate
We ask a simple question and that is all we wish: Are fishermen all liars? Or do only liars fish?

You won't catch every fish you try for, but don't let that discourage you, because the best fisherman who ever lived can't do it either.

I have never caught one before, but I am sure it must have been a good fight on light tackle. What bait did you get it on?

Hi Hermann,

We caught two Blue Spotted rays, this one in the pic, and a small duckbill (Or eagle). The one Blue Ray was quite big and he was THICK. He weighed quite a bit.

So two were caught on pilchard head wrapped in delicious pilchard guts. The other two picked up the mud prawn. They are awesome fun. No 'pik pik', just 'Dankie and totsiens!'

All were caught east of the rain bridge on the mud flats side in that near channel. All at night.
