Look for their food, their action, birds, current lines, pinnacles, upwellings, colour lines, patchy water, watch your finder as you will see them in the mid water often, look for thermoclines on your finder

Hi boys,
Look for feeding birds along with splashes, then close in on them and I mean move we did about 25km/h doing this with lures in the water, you need to figure the direction that the fish and birds move in, your lures should be around 150 meters behind the boat. when you are about 70 meters ahead of the shoal turn in the direction to cut in ahead of them, this wil let your lures pass trouugh the shoal, when turning reduce your speed to around 13km/h to get the lures to swim nicely when they go trough the shoal. Lures we used was Islander, Pulsator Ocean pusher and a Stripey tickler.

Cheers
Juan
