:corrct: I wish there were more skippers like you to do that. I do understand the frustration of having finally found some feeding fish and then the razor gang move in, but for all that read this, trust me there is no way passed them and they never get full, pack up and move on or else you will spend the day killing off fish after fish after fish and none of them for home either  :corrct:
Thank you for moving away from my mates and not killing more fish. Well done on the Capie, that is a bus :cgrts: :corrct:

As a rule on the boat if those gray marlin are around while we are bottom fishing I move away... don't want to encourage them to be around the boat!

it is frustrating when you do find some good fish.... but on the plus side i get to try diffrent reefs and new ones all the time... i have found though that if you are on good fish you can get a couple of good fish up before the Razor gang showes up... just have to keep them guessing!!

So I know i missed my last report.. have had to do some Repairs to the boat and this has taken over 3 weeks to get the right part and get her up and running! but we are all up and running again! headed out to day with a full boat and Dodger aboard!
we decided to troll for some Tuna! was not long before we had some bonnies on board!
Worked our way south and then back up north! the baby bonnies where wild and giving us loads of fun on some light tackle!
Dodger took the helm for most of the trip allowing me to play with the spread and get 8 lines in the water!

ended the trip looking for a  :shrk: but with fresh bait in the water we could not find any!!   :dunno:

All in all a good fun trip with some light tackle!

That's is one great boat, I do miss her, she will always deliver and she handles the 'snot' superbly.

We had a good day on Sunday, as Nikao said I took the wheel for most of it. We went south to Coopers and back. We pulled lures all the way and back across the colour line, we got a stack of bonnies but no other species, the daisy chain rig we were getting plenty a run the most we had was 4 .
I said to Nikao what about some bottoms? he said just wait. We pulled over and put a bonnie out to try and catch a shark, but just sitting in a smooth sea, no sharks but the charter guys started to produce a lot ot groundbait with the boat on the drift :cnfzd not confused just the colour :hehe:

when I die, may my wife not sell my fishing tackle for what I told her I paid for it... and I have bought more, a severe case of TA
