We just got back from Kosi have a look at the report. I reckon you need to fish a few days before and after the spring tides there. Will you be fishing the lake or surf mainly?

Mostly in the lakes... espesially in the second lake... got some amazing runs there last year but failed to hook anything...guess my hooks was too small for what ever it is thats swimming there... i know for a fact that the one must have been a shark or fairly large king coz the 40lb trace i had on was completely bent and folded...
all is well that ends well... and if it dont end well.... GO FISHING !

and for the guys reading this i plan to make a detailed fishing documentry on my trip down to kosi this year got a few new tricks and tackle to try out on those ever so shy bull mallets... caught one on fly last year in the 3rd lake on the jetti... so i recon if the small ones are biting the big ones should too... and what better live bait for a river snapper aka (rock salmon) and kings.
all is well that ends well... and if it dont end well.... GO FISHING !
