Since we've already resurrected this thread on harbour fishing.. a quick hijack..

Is a 3m fully inflatable boat with 2hp motor suitable for fishing in the harbour?
If I add an all-round white light, would I be able to fish at night?
Only intend on fishing along center bank, I wouldn't chance it going to NSRI or coal dumper.

Permits are being issued at the Transnet Offices Durban Central, this Saturday and Sunday, please make sure you take with you the following , certified ID Copy (SAPS) and the application form obtained from Desmond D'Sa fishing forum.


This is all the information i have for now, hope this helps.

North pier permits have been issued, guys are fishing on the bay end of the pier(base) now.

Quick question for the guys in the know, this transnet permit issued to fish off North and South pier.


Is it the same permit issued to all boaters fishing in the harbour, the pink disc?????
