this time of year the eds you get in the area will be your bonefish, stumpy, pommies and ofcourse your shad fish! lol
The best thing to do with regards to bait is to mix things up a bit. Try things you wouldnt normally do...like a pink/red prawn mixed with chokka, red eye chokka mix...the secret is make sure you use chokka as all the fish mentioned above all eat it!

Ill give you a call next week think i might have a a day off so we can go fishing!  :bnaboy:
A wise man once told me life is to short for ugly girls and cheap fishing tackle!

You can also catch snoek (and shad, and garrick, and and and) with a 2oz bullet spoon (Chase plain and Chase lumo) in the Dave's rocks area.

Homie
this time of the year, its best to be down south coast or from blue lagoon down south, garrick, salmon at night and early mornings, shad, kingfish ( Gt's) on live bait around ledges are plenty, your timing for the north is a bit off , the sards did come and go but thats all done, the fish are still coming up the coast.
there are salmon at tugela at night but if you want to catch fish without a hit and run case then head south early in the morning, fish twini ledges onwards and u in the game

remeber this is related to eds off the shore only.
Never underestimate the guy with the cheaper tackle!!
