So here is a report from the interclub I fished this past weekend

.
Arrived at the Shelly Beach Ski Boat Club at 2:30pm to chat to my team mates.
Had a good briefing with some good laughs and lots of smiling faces which is always a great start!
Day 1.
Arrived at the Club, had a lekka breakfast that the ladies in he kitchen prepared for everyone!
All the skippers checked the surf out and it was called off due to unsafe surf conditions.
Was a well spend day with the team and some other juniors, going over tackle, throwing spoon in the bay, soccer on the beach just all round fun!
Day 2.
Same procedure in the morning packed the boat and all boat met on the backline as soon as all boat made it to the backline we got the go ahead to head to our fishing destinations.
Our game plane for day one was to run for the hole and pull lures for a Skipjack!
We had an awesome run to the hole with very awesome ride on Clint Barclays boat Devocean!
Arrived at the hole set up spread and wasn't even Two minutes and we had a full house strike!
All tuna were too small to weigh in so were safely released.
We had 3 more full house pull with more small tuna and headed to the Reef to find some Tuna and other species.
Arrived on the reef and started the usual... Chumming.
Cameron Palmers rod screamed away and he was into an awesome fish!
In 15min Clint put the gaff into a lovely 14kg yellow fin

! Big smiles all round the boat now we had some weight in the hatch!
They day went on with a few pull but just small bonnies not the size we were looking for.
Liam Taljaard spotted some awesome chases behind the boat and put a popper into the middle of it and got smashed 3 times but to no hookups, so I put my popper into the mix and got a hookup instantly! The fight didn't even last a minute as the fish swam straight to the boat getting chased by one of those grey things

.
As soon as we put the fish in the hatch my other stick screamed away!
Got the fish turned saw the fish at the boat and he headed straight down and taxed! Good fish chowed!
We chummed for abit more with no luck then pulled some lures again.
Again 2 sticks away I boated my fish a nice 9kg fish and Cameron with a more grumpy fish which took a lot more line, eventually I line parted (leader frayed)
I got another pull and boated a good size bonnie!
Now I had 2 species just needed the 3rd!
Liams stick screamed away but the hooks pulled:(
I gave the call to head back onto the drift and try get another species I managed to boat a small sarda that just made size now we had something to stand on 3 species.
By then it was lines up and we headed back with smiles all around!
At the scales we noticed we had done extremely well for an all junior team!
Big thanks to Mark Brewitt For all the lessons and time put in on helping us.
And Clint Barclay for having us on his awesome boat!
