Unlucky Fluffer  sry but hey could have been worse, nice reports chaps.

Sorry about the finger Gareth, not a lekker way to end the days fishing for everyone on board.

These sort of accidents happen so quickly, just one second of distraction. They normally happen to me though, so I have learnt to add bomb bandages in the cars first aid kit, everything else can be fixed with a band aid, disprin or imodium.

Congrats on the fish boys.

Yeah one moment of distraction can be costly. Lucky Richard (Nikao) was at club, he bandaged him up nicely, i shot through to the club and took him him home so his wife could take him to hospital. I  missed a lovely day on the ocean had to work.

Hell, thats lousy news. I hope they can save the finger and don't have to amputate.
I shot out to No 1 on saturday, but with the current screaming the way it was, returned to try the center bank for the early season garrick, but nothing.

Anyone else see the action in the basin on Saturday ??I Went back to the club on Saturday afternoon for a swim and a sundowner on the beach and witnessed an unbelievable sight - a huge shoal of sand mackerel and some smaller shoals of mullet moved right in to the basin, the water was crystal clear and you could see them in the waves, the next thing some big snoek and I think garrick moved in and started smashing them..........20 meters off the beach!! :shk this went on for about 5 mins with a few snoek getting airborne :rck"
Also saw a guy come very close to turning his brand new boat over when his motor died.......very lucky!!

Well I fetched Gareth from the hospital yesterday. They amputated the finger at the first Knuckle and stitched the end.
He looks like it is a bit sore. He asked me to thank you all for the kind words.
