Weather was miserable on the coast and I was in the berg but managed to fish. Did some fly fishing. Got three trout. Kept two as was enough for 8 of us to taste and released the third.

Well done HD, at least someone is fishing ...and catching.

Howzit guys, ja I've been a bit scarce at the club lately, a small op, work and bad weather have prevented me from fishing offshore since about mid May.

CLS  Perhaps good opportunity to arrange a fishing clinic? I have been battling (and many others if I look at the empty catch register at the club) lately and will be good to gain more knowledge on how to catch the summer fish that is around the corner.  Not sure how we can get the Freespool Angling chaps or the good fishermen on this forum to set something up for us. I am sure there will be a lot of takers for this opportunity.

They used to run clinics at the Freespool shop in Gateway (went to 2) hadn't heard of any for awhile but will ask Shaun, as you say I am sure there will be a few guys keen to attend.

thats why our boats look better we end up polishing them every weekend

We normally Polish our boats with fish blood and scales
