First Rain of the Saeson
« on: September 13, 2011, 09:37:52 PM »
Guys & Gals,
We are now having our first rains of the season in the Vuildriehoek. :happ: :happ: :happ:

It has been drizzling for about 30 minutes now, with thunder in the background. :clwn

Methinks summer she has arrived !!!!!

Let the fishing begin in earnest. :fshn: :fshn:

P.S. The smell ( sp ) of rain damp earth is just  so  :clwn :clwn

If we caught fish on every trip, it would be called " Catching". We don't, and that's why it's called "Fishing".

Had some in Praetoria too, lots of thunder and lightning. Not too much rain but at least the dust is washed from everything.

Rained last night in Pretoria for about 45min. A light drissel started falling at about 01:00am this mornig. Don't know how long it lasted. Out leagues are starting and I hope the fish have finished their business so we can have good  :carp: and :brbel:

My car now looks like a proper 4x4! A weekend of dust in the bush now just enough rain to make mud

Eeiisshh, Pieter,
That means one of  4 things.
1. You were too drunk to hear  :crzy
2. The TV was to loud.
3. You are hearing disadvantaged.
4. You were " On the job " and even a direct lightening strike would not have been noticed (clap) :happ:
