UA logo on boats
« on: July 02, 2011, 08:56:17 AM »
Dear Admin and members,

I want to apply a small/ish Ultimate Angling emblem/logo on the consol of my new rubber duck. Not one for bling or flashy things but I would like to proudly display my involvement, support and membersip of our fine forum.

Also dont want to go ahead and summirarily do so without approval of admin (and agreement and support of members).

At the same time if it is possible and admin has not objection to do so, suggest that it must be a standard unified symbol/logo/emblem so that everynody doesnt go off on a tangent and each make a different logo/emblem.

Dont want a big sheet of plastic so suggest it should be a logo/decal with printed and cut out image/logo that somehow gets placed and fixed and when applied just merely peel of the backing to leave only the logo and lettering.

For my application on the front or sides of the consol it can unfortunately not be too big.

Firstly my question to admin and Tony, have you any objection to such an idea and then secondly suggestions of which will be suitable, practical and be the best example to use for such an application. Perhaps ET who Tony saus do these type vinyls for a living can do/assist with design and making of such a "universal" stick on - peel off" boat logo, and print the emblem according to individual size requirements.

Kindly advise possibility, thoughts and suggestions.

The UA Boatstickers, professionally done, will be ready within a week or so. We have ordered a 25cm x 25cm one, which will go very nicely on boats and bait boxes. There will also be smaller ones 10x10, 30 x 9, 20 x 5 in the range of stickers.

Thanks John, you can certainly take credit for the first UA boat on the forum!

Its however all that plastic that I dont want. I have in mind the UA logo and letterring also on good vinyl "sticker", but cut out neatly with a "reverse backing that you can peel and stick, and then peel off the reverse side backing.

Lets see what Reefz and Homie comes up with and then decide. I would for instance want to place it in the same position as yours. If not suitable for/as I have in mind I'll have it done here same size and design as the official one of course, and make for you and anybody else interested also and share the profit 50/50 with our new budding entrepeneur Homie!.

In anticipation... let's see what the official one's look like when available.
