Pieter, in May you are already into winter mode, which is dry fly to surface feeding fish, or hunting the LM in the right areas.
Most of the f/f head off to the troot waters from end April to September.

Maybe an Ultimate trip to Big Van's place in winter for trout, then revert back to the Vaal in September?,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Just an idea. w;k

Herman how about a morning session at Brookwood and an afternoon session Grilroys trip ?

Only as long as ICStuff is driving  :clwn

Otherwise I get home ........... HOW ?? :cnfzd :cnfzd
If we caught fish on every trip, it would be called " Catching". We don't, and that's why it's called "Fishing".

Herman I have no problem with being the designated driver.
June 16 is a public holiday and the 17th is a special school holiday, how about we do a special LM trip?

Thank you Pieter. (clap)
Being an old toppie my head is swimming with dates.  :cnfzd :cnfzd

I'm actually trying to stick to the weekends, however a day trip on the 16th might work. w;k

The August LM trip will drain the resources a lot, especially in terms of leave.

But hey, once a year a 3 or 5 day solid fishing trip is mandatory. :yipee: :yipee:
