Enjoy work tomorrow gents im going fishing at Stiebel! my mate had a session there this afternoon and lost a size blacktip but still managed to land a nice diamond of about 30kg!
 
so all looking good got my trini 50 and 365 ready and some fresh deadly little sarda's! the only thing missing now is the bite from a giant black!

That sounds awesome, I have always wanted to hook a blacktip. To see the shark jump and spin like that, must be exhilarating.  Tight Lines

weel it wasnt the best of days but had some action...
we started at stiebel and the shad were absolutely wild, we were catching them shot for shot on the spoon...i swear you could have caught them on a banana peel if you tried!
 
So we made a decision to shoot further south...jumped in my little daewoo and went flying down the coast to a great deep water point called Ladder Rocks which is by Port Edward. We kept some of the shad we caught and also had some in a bucket to keep them alive...so out went the first bait a nice sized live shad!
 
Waited some time then had a nice little run, the bite felt like it was a small hammer! My mate was throwing the spoon off the point and hooked a size Couta but lost it eventually!
 
not long after all hell broke loose with line flying off my mates TN50 at a rat of knots! wasnt long and all you saw was white water and a very beeg Black break the surface...after about 5 min he got jumped off...we did managed to get to daimonds out for the day one of about 30kg and the other just a bit smaller before we called it a day!

it a very tricky spot to find it you dont know where it is...ill do one better for, next time i will take you fishing there and you can see how nice it is but how hard it is to land a fish! haha if your fish goes left tho you got no chance of landing it! lol just hold on tight and part your line...but it is an awesome spot!

Thats my usual fishing spot, I love it !!!


I landed a small diamond there last August, it went left ! 


Believe it or not, theres some great reef fish there, Skrops landed a nice speckled snapper there, and I got a decent catface as well.


The big nunu's love it as well !

ya small diamond is no problem but hook a 70kg plus blackfin and he got left you are pretty screwed!  :spinwheel:

cow sharks pestering a bit but this last week fished a tuna comp so been offline a bit
