Slow day on jigging Bloody
« on: November 20, 2010, 06:08:17 PM »
Went out todat on my boat Bloody, tryed some jigging on well know spots to check out if cob was around.

No Cob but some AJs and enjoyed my new Synit rod paired with the JM P4 reel loaded with PE4 braid and it is just so light and easy, had a ball.

Then went to the Luanda Oil rig but it had moved place and it is now on shallower waters, not many fish around but we managed to get two small Tunas there, had lunch on the boat and then come back home after a slow fishing sunny day.

Some pics of the day

Sorry forgot to explain why it was slow, boats around us got zero fish we had to put a lot of work to get those 4 amberjacks biting and fish only had some activity from 8:30 to 9:30 after that it was just sightseeing :-)

Was waiting for some bottom fish activity and zero, no cob, no grouper, no wreckfish, nada...

Arriving at the club I do not recall any boat talking about any fish and just saw a spearo with two fish..

I like it Fernando !! Reckon the heavier set ups are gonna start taking a back seat with that little rig of yours on the boat - very nice.
