As of 7 Dec 2021, the Maputo Special Reserve and Ponta do Ouro Partial Marine Reserve have been merged into the Maputo National Park!!!!
A huge step forward!!!! Practically not much will change for the average user (the merger will actually have huge implications at management, fundraising and overall conservation!).
A new Management Plan has been drafted and is under review.
