I think St Lucia is your best bet...not that I know a hell of a lot about prawns that crack :-)

Homes, you would need an estuary to find Crackers... ain't no estuary in Vidal. Closest is St Lucia or Mapelane - and there you're not allowed to. Ghost crabs ... are another story all together!  :hnthnt:

Vidal is also full up on sea lice....but if you guys are fishing from shore...a live bait in the water is what you need

guys,
FROm my side i would advise more natural baits, then sardine.
Remember, the water can become like gin. So go for mullet, also the green mullet if present. Prawn, tjokka and crayfish.
Tree weeks back two kingies were caught at mission rocks 'bats cave' on tjokka and a sardine tjokka combo.
All the best
Ss

Mike dont worry to much about the yellowtail...

The bait you will use the most is mackeral and chocka...this time of year your main target species will be Sandies and they would be prefered baits, wait the okkie will do well to.

If you want the Blackfin the best bait would be a shad(dead or alive) but preferably alive!

Um you will get some nice eds there aswell, prawn, chocka and red eyes and crayfish is what I would use.

Put the fresh occie or mackeral and you will get a quick bite...

Put that fresh bonnie on ice and keep him for the Blackfin at dusk

Hey bru

It still a touchy topic with regards to leave at work especially after this last week where we fell victim to some fraudsters. But if I come it will be over the weekend and will bring mostly mackeral, occies and chocka and a bonnie or 2 for the non eds but if i get a shad I will put him BACK...edibles I will use prawn, crayfish and chocka
