when did the bay at vidal get so sanded up it is a mission to launch, got 30m of shallow water to get to the channel never seen the beach so flat here weather was k*K today so hope it is better tommorow.  :rck"

hey chaps another frustrating day on the beach at  vidal in my opinion unlunchable unless you on a jet ski or small ski vee size boat the water is not even knee deep right up to the rocks with  a serious side wash and you need to push your boat allmost to the pole befor the water is deep enough. what a duff

why do you guys not launch straight out from infront the beach entrance (or a little bit left), or is that sanded up too? We used to launch in between the to piles of rocks marked in front

i don't think the launching is the prob, they just like to walk 1. km to park the vehicle.

just pulling legs here.
we all know that the bay is sanded badly and to the left of the bay scattered rocks.
taking chances with props etc is not a good joice.....................

spoke to the parks board chap this afternoon aparenty the bay has been sanded like this for 4 months, really sad with very few boats launching only on calm days when you can walk it out.
