Sliding for Cuta
« on: April 15, 2014, 05:56:19 PM »
Planning on targeting cuta from gwe gwe point in may.

First time I'll be actively fishing for the crocs that head down there this time of year. Any one have any tips they would like to share? Do they shy away from 150-200lb FMJ, because the odds are a jonny will probably be the first to chow a live shad and using lighter wire is playing with fire! Is it a case of throwing that sinker as far as you can or do they hug mid break, backline, currents or any where in particular? I know a lot of guys swear by a pink squid/skirt on the trace.

cheers
its cruiser country

Never done it but the further/deeper the better, if you are fishing for couta then don't worry about the sharks. :-)
Just Fish!!!
