Went to a spot Parys side for a mates birthday, tried a bit of fishing, but wasnt the right spot to wade, the Carp were active and I saw a few Yellows jump. So the season is almost here

Had my best Yellow summer last season . Funny thing was the very 1st Yellow of the season was the biggest , will rather fancy it if that that happens again.

got to agree Lichia amia, the start of last season was a blast with most catching bigger than average fish, i'm pretty sure this new season will be the same. i'm so ready, with flies all tied up, rod all polished, line all buffed, and cleaned waders

Current water temp being released from the Barrage is at 14 degrees already, unreal. But they've dropped the flow to 15 cubes....early season low flows and high temps means one thing: plenty rocksnot!!

Was in Parys for the Bachelor party this Saturday and Sunday

The rocks are coated with slime.
