Charles...We went out fishing with Lenny and when we got back to the harbour, I though his Dad was there to collect him so off loaded him on the jetty and said we will meet you at the fuel station. We trailered the boat up and off we went. He thought we were going to the close by station but we went to the far one.. we were there for about 20mins and then Lenny comes cruising down the road in his wheel chair...man did I feel bad!!! It was HOT and far.

Hahahaha there was no strafdop  .

In all honesty , in the harbour  i , heard garage , and thought it was the Total up the road , but it was not , it was the Caltex  which is a bit of a " drive" lol
I was just thinking of the left over cold drinks on the boat , to quench the thirst .

But it was all good , anything goes after n super day out to sea .
No need to feel bad tony , I do it all the time .

Mint weekend , with mint condisions .

I know of two very large raggs  that was landed , the Boland Liga dudes took town by storm , and I think the brandy supplies are depleted , they like a drink. Lol  some of them also fish hard , I know the one fish was landed by a club angler past he die walle .

I unfortunately don't have much. Other info , as I had some cousins here and had to spend time away for mthe water .
There was plenty of guys out asthe weather was mint , and some good colour arid all over too  ,with rags around one could assume the water cooled down a bit , but then again I think there's patches of cold and patches of warm water around , there's elf too .
Armand , I have a skippie head for you .

Elf about , all on floats , and whole pilchards , after dark on high .

They have been coming out drips and drabs , some nice sized ones between the short elf in between .

The tides is not favourable , now unless your want to fish really late night.
They do stay around when thers lots of bait around , to best bet would be to brave the crowds , it's not that bad .

Konrad has been on with what we think is a proper Rag, 1 hour 30 minutes in.
Live elf for bait .

Landed a while ago fat female 180 cm odd.

He got away with murder , fishing a techinuim medium with the light tip on .
On my wind- on , and lead he got from me .
It's a pb for Konrad , biggest ined the previous pb was a cow of 30 odd kilos, so a massive jump in size pb wise .

Well done old chap

To make it short and sweet , the fish are going bossies !

Last night and the previous day guys got good kob on the plaat , I know they will still be biting today and over the weekend , you will need live mullets .

I climbed into the kolsterte and wildeperd this morning , and alls I can say , they eating red bait , with a long hook snoot , it was great fun on the light spinng gear , I stopped counting after 15. Must have caught 25 all together with only the I'd one undersize , I released the lot . I would have bagged a few , but I tried to spook the school  as there was couple of caracters that was bagging anything except blaasop

Dish bloody I pad .

I then resorted to trying to confuse the guys , I was one of three guys that was going vas all the time , then a big bait , then a small bait but to be honest every thing worked well that I threw .

The raggs are still around , Tuesday two were landed over the bricks at a well known place  85 and a bus of 150 od , the guys threw live mullets , they were in abundance but since then AWOL ( the mullet not the rags )

So very very good rags in front of argunata park still I saw aspic of of a biiiiiiggg one landed 169 kgs bait was a sandy .

Then I know Konrad landed a spotty yesterday , of z25 kgs , he also snapped his rod , I told him he's looking for trouble with such a light stick , but we continue to learn from our mistakes school fees ....
