I fish regularly (at least once a week sometimes more - and I have three reels (6 spools total ) all with jigman - most of it is about 4 years old - no problems, no fraying, no knots - only thing is that the colours have faded a little

Gosen, so far no problems

 :corrct:
Most of the guys actively doing Shore Game have switched to Gosen...  :dunno:
Apparently good stuff.

I'v been using Gosen for the last year and a half now and so far it has never let me down. I use  the 50 and 30lb for rock and surf fishing  and the 25 and 17 and 15lb for shore game on the 5000 size reels. I find that it throws very few wind knots, has good abrasion (at least good for braid) and comes off the spool like silk on the throw. Its very good stuff!!  As with Jigman, the colours fade.. but the strength doesn't. it also has very good knot strength!!
Because a fish is too valuable to catch only once!

Howzit Rob,
I am chasing queens and cuta from the rocks here in Saudi.

I am using a Sustain 6000 and mainly casting plugs and spoons.

Would Goosen 17lbs work best for getting distance with up to 3oz lures?
