maguro's live bait well

after some consultation from Fritz, Prego and JohnF I decided to build a live bait well for Maguro
guys
there's little room aboard so size (and mobility) matters...so a removable bait well was the option

so after seeing all their solutions I grabbed MAXIMVS's old fish/fuel hatch with inspection holes and all and started the sewing and gluing...
I have a canal for the petrol housing/battery cables going trough my deck...so I decided to make a canal also on my bait well...this way it stays secure when mounted on the deck

all that work was finish long time ago...now I needed to get the pump and water intake instalation done...together with the electrical instalation redone (new switch panel)

again beeing lazy waited till this past weekend to get all done (I had all the gear to finish the job since long time ago)

so started saturday...first mounted the water intake and pump instalation
then moved to electrical instalation...new panel mounted...tested all the electronics...all working fine

next step...invite my contributors for a live bait fishing session...istn't croc season on??

ah...forgot to mention that a hose and plug is available to properly clean the deck

Nice one Peter  for the hose do you just "t" it of with two inline taps....... so close the one to the livewell and use the hose

JohnF suggested me to mount a "t" connector...but I just unplug the plug from the pump intake and connect the hose there
in case I start loosing bait to that modus operandi I will plug a "t" connector

Actually I suggested a "Y"... much better than a "T"

But it should be ok... as long as you guys don't "shower" for 30 min, the baits should survive for 5 minutes....

ok then the simpler the better      to you bud.... did you use a normal garden hose (green type)

for the hosing
- 4mts of 1/2' hose (some spare hose to clean the deck)
- 2 x garden hose connectors

for the electrical instalation
- 1 x 6 buttons panel switch (just needed 1 button for the pump but decided to add the fuses to my electrical instalation)
- 5mts electrical cable
- 1 x 600gph bilge pump...originaly Prego got me a 1500gph but I was scared of becoming Moses and taking all the water from the ocean path behind maguro...so I swap pumps with JohnF

This is because you were going to use one pump for both live well and luna tubes

to be honest fiber glass job was done by Matusse fiber glass handy man that did MAXIMVS revamp

to much stuff already aboard maguro...can't mount lunar tubes...imagine keeping Greg's tunas on lunar tubes
