After Shaun pimping his wears just had to go to the tackel shop today and I swear I heard angles sing as I entered and a bright light..... now I know how heaven feels. Is it just me or are other guys out there that when you walk into a tackle shop all the strees and worries disapear ( and your money ). Who needs a Doctor  :hehe: :hehe:

Just read this thread - we were watching American Pickers last night and I chirped about the state of one of the storerooms.  Hubby chirped back: it looks like our fishing room.  I also have a dedicated little stone building outside just for fishing stuff.  Hubby makes sure I have a limited amount in my credit card when I go to a tackle store  :blush: .  My excuse - I hate shopping for clothes, etc etc but eish, a tackle store ....  :cnfzd

What make it worse for me is when your son works for a fishing wholesaler and comes home to show me all the latest things. Just bought a new cupboard for the garage to store all the stuff in  :-)

It is winter time...
Fishing has been slow...
Normally I buy all my tackle line / hooks / etc in the off slow season.
So that when summer arives you do not have to run to the shops.
Before i make this trip I normally make a stock count of what I have and what is needed. (Normally this list gets left at home on the big day) So I have to go on memory. Now any new rod / reel on the market have an effect on my memory - what is on the list as well as what is in the bank account.
Now Athur at Fishing Specialist is a lovely man. He treads me with respect - my bank manager hates Athur.
 
So ja my name is Kingslide and I made a purchase an hour ago (it was not yet on the list)

Yes it happend again.......just drove past the tackel shop minding my own buisness and wham!!!!. Met a beautiful lady today her name was Stella.... But alas she is way out of my league may be some day she will be mine  :hnthnt:
