 :blush: I won a R1000 voucher from the Fishing Pro Shop in Pretoria in the Manzini church raffle. What a lovely shop and things were well priced, but  :blush: I spent a lot lot more than that  :blush: , lots of Ilander lures, Pulsator lures and lots of jig heads  :blush:
I haven't lost my touch :yipee:

Last Purchase was....... last week  :blush: .
Went in for the new crossfire 7ft, 1/8 - 3/4oz rod... came out with a crossfire 2000, 10lb braid, jig heads, paddle tails and the rod.....


Oh and not long before that, bought a dream of an Assassin lite HMG  from Mike Pikes tackle emporium.... Love that rod!


oh and not long before that an SL30.... I needed the assassin to match the reel to

They are Mike. Got it for my yozuri lures. I used the rod last weekend with a 1/8oz jighead and constantly cast over the blue lagoon mouth, with a side wind. didnt expect that distance.


As for the Assassin... I am in love! didnt catch anything with it but the whole feel of the rod is just silky.... smooth.... a-sassy-in...

I think this qualifies as "tackle". I will certainly be using this for fishing as well as for work.

I got my fix. I walked in to the store to get a few hooks etc and left without the hooks bit had a Penn slammer 560 and 30lb braid. I never got as far as the hooks. Boy I feel better. It's been a while since I fell off the wagon.

I hear you tkei! This morning I went to the club with firm intentions of cleaning my boat shed.... spent about 5 h there...

Did a lot of talking, helped peterblace fix maguro's jockey wheel and out of nothing closed a deal on a fighting chair that was gathering dust in a friends shed! Never got a chance to clean anything in my own shed! The fighting chair got my head spinning! Damn you TA!

I went to the Blou Meul in Alberton North yesterday, to get some Kariba worms to fatten up for Jozini and Loskop and they never had any, but  :blush: they do have lots of Spider-wire braid at very good prices, so I purchased a few of these.


Not to be deterred I then went into Booysens to Solly's, where I got my worms and some  :blush: hooks n things

Finding that visiting friend's sheds is quite dangerous!!! :hehe:

Went to see peterblace at his shed this morning and came out with an exage surf 80EXSF. Gonna pair it with a stradic 8k for some spinning escapades in Ponta!
