plenty boats in Maputo use it...and Marcos has a DIY version that was posted here on UA...we even filmed the action under the water
and Marcos one in one occasion had a strike...must definetely work

I dont sell them, but they do have a swimming action which is quite cool.
 
never dragged the cd's on a weight, I do use them when we are sailfishing sometimes as a surface teaser.

Had a bit of a lapse today...
A couple of light fenwick DS rods to match up with some 4000 size reels, these are rated for 1 to 1 1/2oz. Will they be ok for those size reels on 20lb, for general light lure fishing of the boat?
 
and then thought to try the new penn conflict 5000, any suggestions on rods for this reel? its loaded with 30lb
