Tigerfish measuring chart
« on: November 07, 2012, 01:34:59 PM »
I have been in touch with the Crockango Angling club and they have sent me a copy of their Tigerfish measuring chart :tgr: , which they have said we can use, but not to be registered thus for use by all. This promotes catch and release and prevents 'over stressing the  :tgr: '
They have developed it over some years and is based on the characteristics of the Okovango Tigger  :tgr: , which might be different to the Jozini fish. Non the less it provides an excellent starting point for bringing fish to the weigh station.
Any ideas where we can get these printed, and how much? I'll sponsor the printing.
I guess it would look like the UA landing mat that we have already, we can I guess change the logo to UA with a credit to Crockango Angling.

1,973kgs :hehe: No I meant, use the basic info but do your own, can have UA or sponsers on it, its hardly a new design(although the data is) I have seen an almost identical mat that they use for stripers(I think) in the US, where they have a 'target margin' - eg. only over 35cm and under 50cm can be kept.

:hehe:  I know what you mean, I think it will be a good basis to start from instead of whole cloth, and if we did have a  :tgr: social it would level the playing fields a bit :tgr:
