Anyone have experience with a Garmin 420s, I fited one to my ski, very nice so far.

Nice unit. Just be aware that it can take water through the card-slot. I see you fish on a jet-ski, I'd suggest you seal it, some good quality duct-tape should do the trick.

Thanks bud, I will take note on the water entry today and do the mod.

Hi Slayer
I have a 420S on my ski and it works nice. Never had problems so far. I will also check for water in the slot and by putting a piece of duct tape over is a solution to the problem. I am lost without mine. I have the transducer mounted inside the hull and it works lekker this way except the temperature is that of the engine compartment and not the water. Very easy to install.
