This December, I’m going to Inhassoro, Goody Villas, for the first time to do some offshore fishing in the area.
I did read all the previous discussions and reports of fishing Inhassoro and Bazaruto waters. Thanks for some great reports.
From these reports, Goody Villas was highly recommended for camping, and therefore I booked at Goody Villas. These recommendations are a bit old (2014). Can anyone give me an update on Goody Villas? Is it still the recommended camping spot in the area? Although it is a bit too late for me to change, I would like to know which camping sites / lodges to check out while I’m there.
As we are going camping, the fridge space is always an issue. Meat, Bait and if we are lucky enough, the catch of the day also need some space in the fridge. We are 4 people going for 19 days. Just our meat will take up most of the space.
So, if I may ask the following questions:
Can I purchase good quality meat in Inhassoro?
Can I purchase some Class-“A” bait in the area?
Can I catch live bait in the area? Does anyone have some bait waypoints for me? I will highly appreciate it.
Pomene was the highest up that I went into Mozambique.
Can anyone give me some insight on the road conditions.
As I mentioned, this will be our first trip to that area.
So, this is the question that you all expect, but I need to ask for some assistance regarding waypoints please. I would really appreciate any information and assistance. For trolling, Jigging, drifting please.
I do not target bottom fish.
