Hi, I'm selling my do it all rod because I live in Bloemfontein now and don't get to the sea as often as I get out to dams to fish. So I'm making room for more specialized freshwater rods.
This rod is awesome for Rock n Surf and especially Spinning in the surf. It casts 1-2oz lures like a professional right to the far banks and a 2oz sinker and bait much further than a 10ft (exactly why I bought it, never got stuck reaching out to wherever I needed that bait to go).
Its seen two fishing trips only and does have superficial scratches. Never been dropped, knocked or bumped though.
Looking for R1000 eventhough its replacement value is now near double that.

Description from the Kingfisher website:
Designed for rocky shore, pier and beach fishing, the Daiwa BG Power Spin series is the perfect rod for the avid angler looking for a light weight rod to fish from the shore. Built on a Japanese designed HSD graphite blank, these rods load from the tip right through to the butt for power and fast casting acceleration. These lightweight blanks are complimented by Fuji Aluminium Oxide guides for unlimited casting, a Fuji DPS reel seat, ultra tough EVA grips and customized alloy componentry. The BG series is ideal for most light tackle shore based fishing from leervis in the southern estuaries to the hard fighting GT of our northern beaches.
