Hi, sorry for the late reply .... internet cap.  :sadd
The Grunter are coming on the bite and also a couple of Steenbras. There are some reports about Leeries but I don't know what size. When are you coming to visit?

I just got home and saw Tyrell and his buddies on their boat. Damn, it looked lekker.
A windless afternoon on the lagoon spinning for leeries with a couple of buddies ...... priceless!!  :win:
Tight lines guys!  fshg fshg
@Tyrell, you guys were lying at a great spot. The sandbanks have moved to create a good looking drop-off. That place would be awesome when the big Leeries and Kob arrive.  :win:

Unfortunately we didn't get to hit the water that often as it turned out, but we did make a few trips, with nothing to show for it  :dunno: . Fishing 4 okes on the boat was a bit hectic though, especially while spinning for leery as every cast had to be well timed and in sync with everyone else's. Lagoon was full of cuttlefish which went after everything we threw in the water, which was extremely clear and a bit on the nippy side, so not fantastic conditions. Regardless, we had a jol! I'll be back in summer though, and i'll be ready for that big one!  fshg

Sometimes things just don't want to work out as we plan.  :unhap
It is still early in the season and the water is still on the cold side. Maybe on your next visit you will be rewarded with the big one!  fshg
I had reports that the fish are beginning to show but the guys have to work very hard for their fish. At least things are starting to come to life. I went spinning for Leeries on Saturday but the wind was pumping and made things difficult. The water was not too cold maybe 16-17C. We went to Buffelsbaai on Sunday and the water was much colder than the lagoon.  :sadd
