Hi Mosh,

If you use the search function on the forum you will get plenty information about Sodwana. You dont say R&S or boat fishing?

Enjoy Mseni, have you been there before? You can stay at Sodwana Bay Lodge in better and comfortable accomodation for about the same price.

A few years ago,we were sitting on the beach at Sodwana having sundowners and planned to watch the sun go down...
A young guy came down in a Landie to fish
He proceeded to fly fish in the bay and caught a Wave Garrick, probably a Kilo
He quickly got his big rod out the landie, pinned the Wave Garrick and let it swim out into the bay.
We left as it started getting dark but apparently he got a GT of 47kg's that night !!
There are big fish in that bay....good luck

Mosh, I am a boat guy and don't know much about R&S but as you drive into Sodwana (near lodge) the a little shop there Matambu's, speak to John, he talks a lot and likes company and free with advice... I have known him all my life which is about a 1/3 of his... he is an old bullet but always helpful a great guy.

Good place to start and he will know what's going on in the area.

7/10
